Welcome to Lumi! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Lumi platform and services. By accessing or using Lumi, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Lumi service, you confirm that you:
Are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
Have the authority to enter into these Terms
Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
2. Service Description
Lumi provides an AI-powered chat agent platform that enables you to:
Create and deploy AI chat agents on your websites
Manage conversations and customer interactions
Integrate with third-party services (Gitbook, LINE, etc.)
Access analytics and customer insights
Utilize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for knowledge management
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
3.2 Account Types
Personal Workspace: Individual use
Team Workspace: Collaborative use with role-based access control
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
4.1 Plans
We offer the following subscription tiers:
Starter: $9/month
Pro: $19/month
Business: $49/month
Each plan includes a free trial period as specified during signup.
4.2 Payment
All fees are in USD and billed on a recurring monthly basis
Payments are processed through Stripe
You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle
Failed payments may result in service suspension
4.3 Refunds
We do not provide refunds for partial months
You may cancel your subscription at any time
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
4.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice
Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle
Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Impersonate any person or entity
Scrape or collect data without permission
Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages
Violate any intellectual property rights
Overload or interfere with our infrastructure
6. Data and Content
6.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you submit to Lumi
You grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide the service
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to all content you upload
6.2 Generated Content
AI-generated responses are provided "as is"
You are responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated content before use
We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI responses
6.3 Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active
Upon account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days
Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Lumi Platform
The Lumi platform, including all software, designs, and trademarks, is owned by us
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our platform
7.2 Feedback
Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without compensation or attribution
8. Third-Party Integrations
8.1 External Services
Integrations with Gitbook, LINE, and other services are subject to their respective terms
We are not responsible for third-party service availability or policies
You must comply with all third-party terms when using integrations
8.2 API Usage
We use Groq API and Google AI for AI capabilities
Your use must comply with the respective API provider's terms
9. Service Availability
9.1 Uptime
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
9.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature
We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10.2 Liability Limits
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or lost profits
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
Your use of the service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your content or data
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms
Your payment fails
You engage in fraudulent activity
Required by law
12.3 Effect of Termination
Access to the service will be revoked
Your data will be deleted according to our retention policy
Outstanding fees remain due
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us to seek informal resolution.
14.2 Arbitration
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time
We will notify you of material changes via email or service notification
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
You may terminate your account if you disagree with changes
16. Miscellaneous
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumi regarding the service.
16.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
16.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights freely.
